What you'll get
During the workshop, you'll:- Learn the basics of frame loom weaving.
- Explore different weaving techniques to create texture and pattern.
- Work with deadstock yarns, natural fibres, and reclaimed materials.
- Create your own unique woven textile to take home.

Your teacher
Yahvi is a textile artist based in London. She creates handwoven textiles using kitchen waste from local cafés and restaurants. Eggshells become bio-clay, onion peels give beautiful colours, banana peels transform into yarns. Her practice has been inspired by zero-waste living practices around her family’s kitchen and textiles. She is on her way to create a textile based community through her workshops and craft.
