Creative kids will love crafting a unique Halloween decoration that is certain to set a spooky scene! This mache pumpkin project is a great way to get the Halloween fun started and it’ll teach them all about making with mache.
The tutorial is designed for kids aged three years and over. They’ll have an expert Hobbycraft colleague showing them every step of the way, with a fantastic variety of craft materials provided in store to help them transform one spooky pumpkin – from googly eyes to tissue paper! There are so many ways to make something unique.
Whether kids have never made with mache before or they just love getting stuck in with this versatile craft, the workshop will be a fun way to embrace Halloween excitement.
All participants will walk away with pumpkins to put on display. Please note, you may need to allow for drying time.
Workshop suitable for ages 3+ years. All kids’ craft workshops require adult supervision. One ticket is required per child.
Our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas, and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

First time in Hobbycraft and it was very impressive, lots of hobby materials and seasonal decorations. Used pre-made pumpkins and tissue paper with paint and googly eyes, all provided. My daughter learnt how to tear and glue. The class was slightly more than some other classes on offer but we did get alot of materials to use, so my daughter made an extra monster, in the alloted time frame. We also got to take our creations home, so it was good value. The finished products were the highlight. My daughter is delighted with her pumpkin and we have the monster decoration up plus we bought some more extras...the cashier was really friendly and let me know about offers on, so we got to make use of them. Thank you. We will be back soon.

We were treated very differently compared to the other children and my kid were not acknowledged by the worker and her treatment of my kids was very unkind compared to the other children. She did not compliment my kids work, as she did with others, she did not converse with my kids, when my son made an effort. We left very upset, we are cancelling our next session and will not be booking any further sessions in Chingford hobbycraft.
