  • 3/5 from Carol Boswell, attended Sep 2026: The class leader was lovely and she made a lovely wreath. Sadly it has taken me a very long time to wind the twine round only half way before running out of twine so I shall just have to pack it all away until I can purchase some more twine Very disappointed as I was looking forward to completing it today.
  • 3/5 from Angela Harrod, attended Sep 2026: I ran out of twine, like several others, so was unable to complete the wreath, very disappointed, but hopefully will get supplied with extra twine so I can complete it. The artisan who was doing the demonstration was lovely though.

  • 5/5 from Honor Newman-Gould, attended Oct 2025: Really enjoyed doing the class. I’ve never used a glue gun before, really impressed with it and look forward to doing more crafting with it. One pumpkin was ok but the big one wasn’t, so used one and added some additional items I’d bought. Only downside was it was a lot to do in the time but was able to get the gist to catch up.

  • 5/5 from Jocelyn Smith, attended Oct 2025: The standard of courses from hobbycraft is first class and last night’s wreath course did not disappoint. Friendly tutor ready to answer questions along with teaching at a good pace. Throughly enjoyed the time.
  • 5/5 from Judith Jackson, attended Oct 2025: Thank you for leading this autumn wreath making workshop - it was very enjoyable. You led us through everything step by step & went back over some steps (like making the twine pumpkin) several times when someone had a question about it! It was lovely that you asked us to comment when we were done with certain steps to ensure that we were able to stay up with the directions. I loved the twine pumpkin - something I had never seen before on a wreath. Now I am going let it sit on my table overnight & I will tweak the flowers & then add the pumpkins when I have more time! Thanks again, Judy
  • 5/5 from Lauren Hargreaves, attended Oct 2025: Fantastic workshop which was easy to follow. The instructor was brilliant and made it clear how to create the autumn wreath..
  • 5/5 from Carole Rigby, attended Oct 2025: Enjoyed the craft lady was lovely and explained everything clear, kit arrived in time and had everything you needed to create a beautiful wreath
  • 5/5 from Karyn Shields, attended Oct 2025: I really enjoyed the course. The trainer explained everything really well. It was my first time using a glue gun so I really appreciated the trainer's time in explaining how to use it and when to turn it on, etc. I needed little extra time at the end just to finish off but I was very happy with my result. Thank you! :D
  • 5/5 from Beki Rogers, attended Oct 2025: As usual, the workshop was of a very high quality. The tutor was friendly and easy to understand and to follow. The pace was just right - no pressure to be rushing, but not sat around waiting either. I found the practical side at a good level, I learnt a new technique - the hessian design, and was very pleased with my end result.
  • 5/5 from Stephanie Mayne, attended Oct 2025: I have had several classes with Hobbycraft and they have all been really enjoyable. Just going to add some finishing touches to my wreath; I am so pleased with how it turned out! Thank you!
  • 5/5 from Davina Hardy, attended Oct 2025: Very enjoyable and fun. we both really enjoyed making this wreath, we have made wreaths before but never like this, more new skills collected. There was plenty of supplies so we can add more embellishments if we want or need too. We never felt rushed and everything was explained well but there did seem to be a bit of a sound issue. Gina seemed very quiet and sometimes muffled, I fiddled with things at my end but couldn't get it clearer, maybe storm Amy was having an impack.
  • 4/5 from Alison Stewart, attended Oct 2025: I enjoyed the class but did not have time to finish my wreath in the class time.Zi could not master th3 twine pumpkins and felt the wreath benfitted from more colour from plastic pumpkins.
  • 4/5 from Rebecca Wright, attended Oct 2025: Tutor was very good...Flowers not as good quality as I'd hoped, especially greenery. Should be advised to have strong scissors as flowers are wired and will destroy standard scissors.
  • 4/5 from Yvonne, attended Oct 2025: Accidentally arrived quite late to the class as I got the time wrong - completely my fault - but I was not acknowledged nor was I given any instruction on the bit of the class that I had missed which was a little disappointing. Luckily, I joined in time to see how to make the twine pumpkins and use the flower pick so created the second half of the wreath during the class. I have now also received the follow up video which is helpful to recap and make additional wreaths and I can visit the half of the workshop that I missed.
  • 4/5 from Joanne Ellis, attended Oct 2025: The teacher was great, made you feel at ease and talked us through the process. I really enjoyed the cone and pumpkin method. The only part that I was disappointed by was the flower placement part, I think I wanted to be taught more how to place them and where for maximum look. A possible suggestion to enable this as a taught element would be to ask attendees to precut the 10cm jute ribbon. However with that being said I hit a lot out of the workshop and I know it has inspired me to go straight out and buy more product, so thank you very much
  • 1/5 from Jason Suller, attended Oct 2025: Provider cancelled 40 minutes before class was meant to start, unfortunately i was unable to inform all those who were attending
  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Sep 2025: Really simple but effective wreath. Everything you need was delivered to the door well ahead of time. The course was easy to join and follow. Our instructor was lovely and guided you through the process with ease. I will definitely do another class and would recommend to others
  • 5/5 from Emma, attended Sep 2025: Really enjoyable workshop - it ended up being a 121 session and just felt like a crafting session with a friend! Really happy with how the wreath turned out as well
  • 5/5 from Tracey Ingram, attended Sep 2025: I did this workshop as a group of 8 crafters, all together in one room, from Holderness u3a. It was led by a friendly, informative artisan. Most people didn’t complete their wreath in the allotted time but all were very happy to finish them at home. Great workshop, would recommend.
  • 5/5 from Lucy Owen, attended Sep 2025: Lovely workshop with Gisela. Clear instructions and good tips to personalise your wreath. We learned new techniques that we will be used again :)
  • 5/5 from Linda Barker, attended Sep 2025: Very enjoyable class. Nice, friendly instructor making class easy to follow. Good quality materials to make the autumn wreath with. Would definitely recommend.
  • 5/5 from Debbie Young, attended Sep 2025: As an absolute beginner at wreath making I really enjoyed this workshop and Emma was absolutely brilliant throughout. Although I wasn’t a fan of the floral pick supplied, I added my own twist - I did find the twine pumpkins particularly difficult (especially as the twine supplied was much thinner than the Artisan’s). Overall, much fun and laughter was had and Emma provided us with lots of ideas for future projects.
  • 5/5 from Jane Allen, attended Sep 2025: It was an informative demonstration and the kit sent was great. It was a shame it took me so long to get in to the zoom meeting but the expert recapped everything that had been shown so far which I very much appreciated.
  • 5/5 from Susana Howe, attended Sep 2025: The class was very good. The tutor was very friendly and excellent at explaining the different techniques.
  • 5/5 from Tonya Browning, attended Sep 2025: I really enjoyed the wreath making class. I didn’t finish, but I have many ideas because of the suggestions I got from the teacher. Thank you very much.
  • 5/5 from Katie Turnbull, attended Sep 2025: Great class, really pleased with end result! Autumn is my fave season and making this today was so cozy and autumnal thank you would definitely recommend
  • 5/5 from Meghan Jones, attended Sep 2025: Our hobbycraft artisan (Emma) was very clear and full of useful tips and I look forward to spending some additional time filling my wreath out further.
  • 5/5 from Chris Paul, attended Sep 2025: Lovely tutor, really helpful. Loved the workshop, could have done with another half an hour but finished in my own time. Really pleased with the result.
  • 5/5 from Deborah Cuthbert, attended Sep 2025: Really enjoyed the class despite burning my finger with the glue gun. Emma was very patient and gave us lots of ideas on how to personalize our wreaths.
  • 5/5 from Sandie New-Simmonds, attended Sep 2025: Really enjoyed this lesson. Very friendly presenter (sorry I missed her name as I was late to class). Everything was explained very well - need more practice on making pumpkins
  • 5/5 from Wendy Mazzaschi, attended Sep 2025: Well explained, even down to how the glue gun worked. Thoughtfully presented. Enjoyable to do. Fun.
  • 4/5 from Nichola, attended Sep 2025: An enjoyable evening making the autumn wreath with some transferable skills learned. The time past really quickly but I was able to mostly complete in the time with tweeks made after.
  • 4/5 from Angela, attended Sep 2025: It would have helped if we had been told to cut the hessian into the strips before the class as this wasted time. The twine we were sent was not as thick as the tutor used and so therefore we could not achieve the same look on the pumpkins. Overall I enjoyed the class but some pre class prep would have enabled us to spend more time refining our wreaths instead of having to finish it after.
