Hi, I’m Asha!
For me, creativity has never just been about making art — it’s about making people feel good. Since 2017, I’ve been running workshops in painting, pottery, and craft, helping people slow down, switch off from the everyday, and surprise themselves with what they can create. Watching someone go from “I’m not creative” to proudly holding their finished piece is the moment that keeps me hooked every single time.
My teaching style is warm, encouraging, and down-to-earth. I make sure even complete beginners feel at ease, while giving just enough guidance to spark confidence without stifling creativity. Over the years, I’ve worked on council, National Lottery and Arts Council–funded community projects, as well as hosting creative team sessions for organisations like the BBC, Wesleyan, and The Mailbox. Whether it’s a workplace team-building event or a small group workshop, my goal is always the same: to create a relaxed, inspiring space where creativity and well-being go hand in hand.
“A brilliant engaging workshop. Asha was supportive and authentic. The whole process from booking to taking our pots home was simple and organised. We had an amazing time getting creative.” — Hayley Russell, Wesleyan
If you join one of my classes, expect plenty of encouragement, a few laughs, and the chance to walk away not only with something handmade, but with a real sense of pride and calm.
