Recent reviews of Introduction to Screen Printing Workshop

  • 5/5 from Michael Brennan, attended Oct 2026: Excellent introductory class. We were taken through the process of cutting paper stencils for screen printing which we designed ourselves. I printed my design onto a tote bag. I liked how relaxed the class was, it never felt like we were being rushed. The instructor was able to dedicate time to each of us to answer any questions we had, and to help guide us towards our finished stencils.
  • 5/5 from Daniel Jackson, attended Oct 2026: A really enjoyable screen printing workshop. It was well timed, fun, and very well prepared, with all the equipment we needed provided. The group size was just right, which made it relaxed and easy to get involved. A great experience and I’d definitely recommend it.

Springbank Studio is a new creative space run by Georgia & Joe. We took a disused old cab office and turned it into a studio and community space.
We host workshops, exhibitions and creative events on an ever-changing seasonal programme.
I, Georgia, am a textile designer, and have been teaching workshops for over a decade. I teach from my studio and at places like the Design Museum. Some of my favourite workshops to teach are screen printing, still-life drawing, textiles mending and natural dye.
