Join a Hobbycraft Colleague one-to-one and ask any questions you have about your Cricut machine! Stuck on a project? Need help with Design Space? Trying to get to grips with using a new material? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for all Cricut users, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need about your machine. Whether you’re crafting with a Maker, a Joy, Joy Xtra or an Explore machine, you’ll be able to get excellent insight for all kinds of projects. It’s a great way to get a feel for your new machine or learn about features you’re not as confident with yet.
During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Hobbycraft Colleague know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.
You’re sure to walk away a Cricut crafting pro, ready to start making your next big project!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Please note: If you would like to discuss the Foil Transfer Tool, Knife Blade, “Print Then Cut” feature, “Curved Text” feature or “Offset” we would recommend that you book on to one of our online one-to-one Cricut workshop sessions as we are currently unable to demonstrate these features in-store due to them being for the desktop version of Design Space only.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 4/5 from Catherine Moore, attended Apr 2022: Sam was good - listened to me - didn't follow a set script Gave clear info in answer to my queries The time flew
  • 3/5 from Diane Lloyd, attended Apr 2022: I received a phone call a few days before my class and was asked “ what did I specifically want to learn?” I added that it was to learn how to do labels and then write using the pen in the joy machine with writable vinyl. The young girl who helped me today was very patient and good but it wasn’t her fault that there was no writable vinyl to use on the class. I suggested to take some off the shelves and use but that was not acted upon. The young girl then showed me on card but it didn’t actually work brilliantly unfortunately. I feel slightly let down by this as the class cost me £15 and I still haven’t tried the writable vinyl.

I cant wait to go home and make my next item with what I learnt.

  • 5/5 from Sue Leigh-Atkins, attended Jan 2022: Met Steph at the Chester store. We hit it off f straight away. She was very chatty, enthusiastic and knowledge about Cricut. The venue was very suitable as all the equipment and materials are set up there ready for you to use. When you know nothing about a subject, she very quickly was able to put a plan together to show me what I could do in the hour we were together. I learn about the different machines. What products I could work with, different vinyls for use with different subjects. Setting up and using the machine and producing 2 different projects. Plenty of time for questions and I absolutely loved it.
