Once you've booked we'll send you a Google form for key information like colour preferences, playlist preferences, the favourite things of the special hen/birthday person so that we can source and create collage materials specific to them. At this stage you can also organise any special touches like custom cocktails or treats for the day.

Send us your treasured photos

We'll provide your group a link to a photo drive where people can drop as many photos as they like. We'll print these in various sizes for the day.

Settle in on the day

Settle in on the Day

Join us in our space in Deptford, grab a drink from the bar, get settled in your seats and we'll do a round of introductions - even if you all know each other, it's a good way to settle into the space

To loosen up and get familiar with the materials available we'll prepare a prompt that everyone can have a go at collaging. Whether it's collaging a dress for the bride-to-be, a cake for the birthday person or something specific to the person and group in question - these are great things to have in the book and also a nice way to get started

Now it's time to get your hands on the photos! We'll lay them all out on a table and you can fight over them with the other people in the group to compose your pages.

At the end we'll take some time to look at everyone's pages before popping them all in the album to take away as a brand new bumper book to treasure and look back to

Celebrate a big milestone with creativity and connection. In this collage workshop, you and your group will transform cherished photos into a collaborative keepsake album. Perfect for hen dos, birthdays, or any special occasion, this experience combines laughter, creativity, and meaningful memories.
We’ll begin with a playful warm-up collage that gets everyone familiar with the materials and sparks conversation – for example, collaging the bride a one-of-a-kind wedding dress or creating a whimsical birthday cake for the guest of honour.
From there, each participant will create two unique pages for a beautiful 30x30 photo album with removable pages. Using the photos you’ve provided in advance (which we’ll print for you), along with our carefully curated materials, guests can collage, decorate, and add personal notes. This collaborative process gives everyone the chance to contribute their creativity and stories, resulting in a heartfelt book that captures the spirit of the celebration.
The final album is a truly special keepsake, brimming with laughter, love, and personal touches – something to treasure long after the party ends.
A selection of teas, coffees, and biscuits is included during the class. We also have a licensed bar with drinks and snacks available to purchase and can arrange drinks packages, special treats, cakes, or decorations on request to make your celebration extra special.

Hi, we’re Emily and Jess, the creative minds behind Something Good Workshops!
Our journey began in 2019 when Emily launched Something Good Workshops (originally known as MADEptford) as a way to spread crafty joy and raise funds for running the London Marathon. What started as a one-time idea quickly grew into a passion for bringing people together through creativity. Since then, we’ve hosted a wide variety of workshops, from arm knitting to body casting, in all kinds of spaces - corporate offices, cosy pubs, pop-up shops, and even people’s homes.
After taking a short break, we’re back with fresh energy and an exciting new partnership. Jess has joined the team, and together, we’re on a mission to spark joy and empower people to explore their creativity in relaxing, welcoming spaces. We believe there’s something magical about slowing down, working with your hands, and leaving with something you’ve made yourself - whether it’s a chunky knit blanket, a personal shrine, or a collage bursting with personality.
What makes us unique? We’re all about creating an environment where people feel at ease, whether they’re a total beginner or a seasoned maker. Over the years, we’ve held workshops in so many different settings, and one thing always stands out: the joy people feel when they realize just how creative they can be.
We’re not just here to teach a craft - we’re here to help you unwind, have fun, and leave with a tangible reminder that you’re capable of making something good.
We can’t wait to meet you at a workshop soon!
