I’m Sasha, the owner of NicePomPoms, a creative business I run from my home in Brighton. When I moved here I took sewing lessons because I couldn’t find a fancy dress costume for an ABBA night. I hate waste and I didn’t want to buy something that wouldn’t last the night, so I made my own dress, which I still have now! It turned out great and I really loved creating something different.Over the years I have dabbled in lots of different craft disciplines, such as screen printing, freehand embroidery, and string art. My background is teaching secondary school Science but in 2020 I decided to leave teaching and focus on spreading joy through colourful crafting. I love sharing my knowledge and skills with others and encouraging people to tap into their creativity. I LOVE animals and nature, which you’ll gather from my craft kits and the fabrics I use in my sewing projects. I make craft kits that come with detailed instructions and will also be teaching a range of sewing projects for people to enjoy.
