  • 4/5 from Patricia Johnson, attended Oct 2026: Loved the Highland cow. Class was late starting so felt at the end was rushed. Teacher was helpful, music was too loud so couldn't hear even though venue was happy to turn down teacher said it was too quiet. Bit cramped. Could not see that well, so got a bit lost in what was supposed to be doing!

However, we were crammed in like sardines and I was so close to my canvas it was hard to paint. I also had a crick in my neck trying to see what the teacher was painting as she wasn’t centrally positioned. I love the activity but more room is needed.

  • 5/5 from Vanessa Law, attended Oct 2025: Really enjoyable and great to do something so interactive.I hadn't been to one of these sip and paint classes before but I was impressed with the level of tuition you get as the teacher took us through step by step how to mix the colours and how to apply paint with the correct paintbrushes.I picked up quite a few tips It was around 3 hours long with 1 break in the middle..It was really popular and was a fun activity to do. I would recommend it!
  • 5/5 from Patricia Johnson, attended Oct 2025: A Mum and Daughters get together ️ Painting a stunning peacock, step by step clear consise instructions, would have never believed that I could have achieved this in a million years lol Great teacher, funny and knowledgeable. Venue was local and welcoming. Loved that you got to take your master piece home
  • 5/5 from Diane Lloyd, attended Oct 2025: Great teacher Fun evening of painting Would highly recommend this for a fun creative night out
  • 5/5 from Karen Walls, attended Oct 2025: I enjoyed the class. I went because I’m starting to develop an interest in painting and wanted to gain confidence and learn some tips. It was challenging (the subject of the painting) but everyone did a really good interpretation, which is a great testament to the teacher. At times I felt a little rushed, but understand the time constraints. Overall excellent experience
  • 4/5 from Connie Tsang, attended Oct 2025: Nice venue and informative tutor. Easy to follow instructions. More lighting would be good for alcove areas
  • 5/5 from Gemma Kirtley, attended Sep 2025: Really good fun, second one I have attended and plan to come back again soon. Venue is great although drinks a little on the expensive side but enjoyed the teaching style and happy with end result.
  • 4/5 from Janet Jones, attended Sep 2025: Instructor was very good, the only complaint would be the lighting in the venue. There was no lighting where we were sitting so as it got darker, site lights on extension cables had to be brought in!
  • 5/5 from Paula Luke, attended Jul 2025: Session held in a pub so very easy to get any drinks etc. I am not arty at all but really enjoyed the evening & came away with a decent picture looking similar to the display one. Very chilled evening with everyone chatting & laughing. The teacher was very helpful & went at a pace we could all follow, explaining things as we went. We had 2 breaks during the session to purchase drinks etc. I would not hesitate to recommend class.
  • 5/5 from Sarah Edwards, attended Jul 2025: Was a fun evening with great teacher and assistant!! Only comment was my friend couldnt see the teacher painting so was tricky for her. It was rather all cramped in..been nice to have a little more room. would definately try another at some point.

  • 5/5 from Angela Short, attended Jul 2025: I attended as part of a group of five non-artists and we all really enjoyed it and were really proud of our finished art work - flowers in a field. My only slight issues were that we were seated at the back so it was difficult to see exactly what we were being instructed to do and the class did move a bit too fast at the end. We had a brilliant time though and are hoping to book another session!
  • 5/5 from Sue Ellinor, attended May 2025: Spent an enjoyable evening with a friend learning acrylic painting techniques. The demonstrator was excellent, friendly and clear I. Her directions. I was pleased with my final painting look forward to the next evening.

  • 5/5 from Julie Smith, attended May 2025: Super evening. We painted Holy Carp. Instructions clear and time given to do each section. Great to have a couple of examples to follow too. Lovely instructor who was helpful throughout. Venue great and materials great. The paint soaked into the paper plates quite quickly so had to keep mixing more, but not a problem really. Great to be able to change water when needed. Thank you for a wonderful evening and will definitely do another at the Woolpack.
  • 5/5 from Christina Herrington, attended Mar 2025: I'd bought this as a gift for a friend and we had a lovely evening doing our paintings! The teacher was great and encouraging and the other participants were nice people too. We would definitely do another.

  • 5/5 from Karen Haviland, attended Mar 2025: We had a fun evening last night at The Woodman in Banstead. We did a sunrise, the paint techniques were shown to us in detail. Our teacher was very good. Venue was perfect, seats were a bit low for the easel. Materials were all supplied. A water change would have been nice (should have done this) A relaxing fun evening with a friend
