Introduction: Tools & Materials
Get an overview of the tools, clay, underglaze, and botanical elements you’ll be using during the workshop.
Choose Botanicals & Design Your Layout
Pick flowers, leaves, or stamps and arrange them on the clay, then gently roll and press them in to capture their natural textures.
Reveal Your Design
Carefully lift away the flowers and leaves to reveal your unique botanical imprints.
Paint with Underglaze
Add colour and details using underglaze, bringing your botanical design to life.
Fired in the Kiln
Your finished pieces will be professionally fired in a kiln after the workshop.
Delivered to Your Door
Sit back and relax — your fired ceramic plate and coasters will be delivered to your home within 2–3 weeks.

It was based in a small shop which meant there was a lovely buzz of conversation around us, but at the same time we absolutely didn't feel on display. The teaching and demonstration was clear and we both felt fully equipped to have a go! There was a choice of two plate sizes and a collection of four coasters. The time just flew by and the focus on something creative was very relaxing. We are very much looking forward to seeing our finished plate and coasters and just hope they are as good as we think they are!!! I would definitely recommend this, it was a lovely unusual way to make something from clay, with the added benefit of meeting an interesting and engaged teacher. Thank you so much Kiu!

We really enjoyed the session, all materials were provided and the hosts were friendly and provided excellent guidance throughout. We were given a choice of things to make and a wide range of colours. The host accommodated my request to bring cocktails and cupcakes for the occasion. Really looking forward to collecting our finished creations!

Working with flowers and painting their imprints was very fiddly - a lot of concentration and steady hands required - but I'm not artistic and still managed some decent patterns (my biased opinion obviously).
