I’ve had a slightly crazy idea!
At Correll.Club we run lots of creative workshops for companies, teams and brand events, but if I’m honest, my favourite way to be creative has always been making things for the people I love.
There is something particularly lovely about giving someone a present and being able to say, “I made this for you.”
The problem is that homemade gifts can be surprisingly difficult...Finding the recipe, choosing the right materials, buying all the ingredients, discovering that you are missing one essential tool and finding enough time and space to get everything out and actually finish what you started (which is why I have so many half-finished projects).
And, you're here on Classbento...so clearly you like being creative and learning new things in craft workshops...
Why not combine the two?
What if, we combine your love of being creative, your holiday shopping list and desire to have a fun day/night out meeting people for a Handmade Holidays Creative Experience?
Here's What I'm Thinking...
Imagine arriving at a large, welcoming space and being handed a festive drink (with non-alcoholic options too). Around the room, different mini-workshops are getting started. At one table, people are making jars of chilli jam or festive pickles. At another, they are blending hair oils, face serums or body butters. Elsewhere, someone is sewing, decorating, painting, folding, wrapping or writing Christmas cards.
You choose what you want to make, how many you want to make and who its for.
Between workshops, you can sit with a friend, meet someone new or bring along the crochet, knitting or slightly abandoned creative project you have been meaning to finish. There could be a sewing corner, shared making tables, a small market of independent makers and a gift-wrapping and card making station stocked with everything you need to turn what you have made into a properly finished present.
You could come for a couple of hours and make one thoughtful gift. Or you might stay longer, move between several workshops and leave with a meaningful portion of your Christmas list made, wrapped and ready to give.
It would be part workshop, part market, part creative social and part wonderfully productive afternoon or evening.
Imagine how much more your loved ones will enjoy something homemade while also (probably) saving money in this cost-of-living-crisis...all while having a great time and being creative!
So, maybe not such a crazy is this idea?
But, to be clear......I haven’t booked the hall yet....I haven’t decided whether this should be one enormous mixed event, several smaller themed events, an evening, a weekend afternoon or an entire day of making.
That is why this listing is free.
I have created it as a genuine litmus test. Before committing to venues, teachers, materials and several hundred tiny jars, bottles and gift boxes, I want to find out whether this creative community is actually interested.
If the answer is yes, complete the "checkout" answering the questions as though you were designing your perfect version of Handmade Holidays. (NOTE - when you checkout, pick the day/time that you would like best knowing that this would be a date in November and early December).
I'm curious when and where you would you would like these events, what would want to make, how much time you would want to spend, at what price point, and there is also space to suggest something I haven’t thought of.
This is not a ticket to a confirmed event, and you will not be charged anything. It is an expression of genuine interest.
If enough people are interested, I will use the answers to build the first Handmade Holidays events. You will of course be the first to know along with access to early bird pricing as a thank you for your feedback.

Knowledge required
Help me design Handmade Holidays
This is deliberately not a polished event with every detail already decided.
It is an invitation to help create something that could make the Holidays a little more affordable, a lot more personal and considerably more enjoyable.
If you can picture yourself walking through the door, choosing what to make and leaving with gifts you are genuinely excited to give, complete the "checkout" and tell me what your perfect Handmade Holidays would look like.
Let’s find out whether this crazy idea should become a real one.
What to bring
Makers, teachers and small businesses
There is another part of this idea I would love to explore because I can't do this alone!
In addition to brining together other ClassBento teachers to expand the offering, I think it would be amazing if Handmade Holidays included a small makers’ market so that guests can combine the presents they make with beautiful things made by independent creators. After all, handmade does not have to mean handmade by you.
If you teach a creative skill, make products or run a small independent business that could belong in this space, I want to hear from you to! If you complete the 'checkout', there are a space to introduce yourself.

At Correll Club, we create relaxed, welcoming spaces where you can make things with your hands, try something new, and spend time around others doing the same.
Our workshops are designed to feel calm, accessible and genuinely enjoyable — whether you’re crafting natural body care, learning simple repair skills, experimenting with seasonal materials or just taking a bit of time out to create something for yourself.
You don’t need experience, and you don’t need to be “creative”. We’ll guide you through everything, using thoughtfully chosen materials and simple techniques that you can take away and use again at home.
At the heart of it, Correll Club is about more than the thing you make. It’s about slowing down, learning practical skills, and sharing space with people in a way that feels natural and easy.
Come along, try something different, and leave with something you’ve made — and a little more than you expected.
