Join a Hobbycraft Colleague one-to-one and ask any questions you have about your Cricut machine! Stuck on a project? Need help with Design Space? Trying to get to grips with using a new material? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for all Cricut users, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need about your machine. Whether you’re crafting with a Maker, a Joy, Joy Xtra or an Explore machine, you’ll be able to get excellent insight for all kinds of projects. It’s a great way to get a feel for your new machine or learn about features you’re not as confident with yet.
During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Hobbycraft Colleague know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.
You’re sure to walk away a Cricut crafting pro, ready to start making your next big project!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Please note: If you would like to discuss the Foil Transfer Tool, Knife Blade, “Print Then Cut” feature, “Curved Text” feature or “Offset” we would recommend that you book on to one of our online one-to-one Cricut workshop sessions as we are currently unable to demonstrate these features in-store due to them being for the desktop version of Design Space only.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Marianne Harvey, attended Apr 2025: Further workshop today cricut EASTBOURNE. With an NHS background and teaching cert within the role I am crucially aware of the value of experiential learning hands on and the workshop today with Chloe Hewitt was an engaging relatable partnership of learning on a level which promoted both motivation and further purchases to enhance this hobby with specific teaching to software and heatpress. This whole branch communicates and embraces learning new and enhancing crafts from the manager to the whole staff which make you want to learn and return over and over constantly enhancing new skills. These workshops provide the foundation for launching proficiency in new projects and hobbies.

  • 4/5 from Sheree Antioch, attended Oct 2024: Learnt about tge east press Chloe was very knowledgeable Venue ok, internet was a nightmare, chloe tried a number of was to get it to work. Materials we're good, iron on vinyl, bag easy press. It was good value to a point. I had questions that Chloe was more than able to answer - thank you

  • 5/5 from Betty Grimes, attended Apr 2024: I was very pleased with the workshop and Cloe she was a good teacher and answered questions The venue could have been better in a room as we were interrupted several times, and was standing which was a bit difficult for me. I think that just one hour was not long enough but I now that must be difficult. On the whole ok. Looking at the Circuit machines the Joy extra would be the one I would go for as the bigger ones I would not be able to afford.
  • 5/5 from Tandi Sheeran, attended Nov 2023: Chloé was great and had good knowledge of the Cricut machine I was looking at Thank you Chloe
  • 5/5 from Jennifer Botting, attended Jul 2023: This was such a useful introduction to the cricut machine I'd purchased. A cricut expert to guide me, well worth the money as now I've been able to go home and set my machine up.

She patiently demonstrated to me what I needed for my craft projects, and because of this, I can confidently say the Cricut Maker 3 is the right cutting machine for me. It was a positive and fruitful experience overall. I think Rebecca is an asset to Hobby Craft.
  • 4/5 from Maria Morais, attended Mar 2023: I really liked the workshop and I wanted do something easier as I don’t understand English, thank you
  • 4/5 from Catherine Powell, attended Jan 2023: Rebecca was very helpful and very clear with her instructions. But I would have liked to sit down with her at a desk. We stood for an hour in the shop with customers interupting us. She dealt with it all very professionally
  • 5/5 from Sarah Groenen, attended Nov 2022: Loved it! Rebecca was a fab teacher, patient and friendly and I can’t wait to buy a Cricut and get started!
  • 5/5 from Karen Jellett, attended Oct 2022: Very pleasant knowledgeable lady, lots of fun. • 4/5 from Betty Fenner-Hills, attended Oct 2022: I found tuition interesting and think I could proceed and make something simple to start, however, I did ask how to set it up on my computer/ I-pad, but afraid got no where with that one, if I could have help to set the programme up, think I may get somewhere, spent ages Thursday trying but hopeless, rather ️
  • 3/5 from Sue Cooper, attended Aug 2022: I think they should have talked about the machine a bit more felt like she didn’t know enough about all off it

  • 5/5 from Barbara Olivier-Cakebread, attended Feb 2022: Very knowledgeable teacher. Patient and ready to stop for questions rather than continue too quickly. Happy to repeat explanations/ activity when I needed something reaffirming. Would have liked to have been able to print and cut too but the shop doesn’t provide a printer
  • 5/5 from Clare Reynolds, attended Jan 2022: Our teacher was absolutely great. She was friendly, very knowledgeable. Had lots of ideas for us to try. Thank you- we are really excited to go home and try some new projects
  • 5/5 from Ernest Jacobs, attended Oct 2021: The tutor (Becky) was excellent and showed me step by step about using the transfer tape when producing text. I have the Joy model at home. We used the provided Cricut Joy and all materials were provided. Various tips were suggested and also that I should use StrongGrip Transfer Tape when the text was printed on Glitter Smart Vinyl. The session was extremely useful and covered everything I needed to know.
  • 5/5 from Helen Purser, attended Aug 2021: Becky (teacher) was fantastic, happy to answer any questions I had & explain things very clearly. Even writing some info down for me. I have come away with a whole new knowledge of cricut
  • 5/5 from Ernest Jacobs, attended Aug 2021: The presenter was very helpful and resolved my queries I had prepared prior to the presentation. I would like to arrange another one soon. When I feel fully confident with the product and options, I will then hand it over to my 3 grand children (all girls between ages of 11 to 16). They all enjoy challenges!
