Get ready for 45 minutes of spooky, squishy, creative fun at our Halloween Canvas Workshop! Little monsters, witches and ghosts can dive into a world of messy play, using paints, glue, glitter, pom-poms, stickers and plenty of crafty materials to design their very own Halloween masterpiece on canvas. There are no design rules, just lots of imagination, creativity and seasonal fun!
The best part? Kids get to make all the mess, and our colleagues will take care of the clean-up! Parents can relax and join the fun while children enjoy a hands-on crafting experience and leave with a spooky canvas creation to proudly display at home. Expect messy hands, happy faces and plenty of Halloween magic along the way.
Workshop suitable for ages 3+ years. All kids’ craft workshops require adult supervision. One ticket is required per child.
Our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas, and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Keeping everyone safe
At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

- 5/5 from Nicole Swanepoel, attended Oct 2026: Our teacher was flexible, helpful and encouraging. Nothing was too much trouble. Allowed for just the right amount of independent creativity and stepping in with helpful suggestions on techniques, or ideas. Both the older and young members if our party really enjoyed the workshop.
- 5/5 from Jemma Houghton, attended Oct 2026: Sage was so lovely, very engaging and helpful with plenty of suggestions. Very encouraging. Plenty of crayons material to pick from.
- 5/5 from Lian Whitehouse, attended Oct 2026: We had a fantastic experience at the Hobbycraft Halloween canvas workshop! Both my daughter and her friend absolutely loved it and had such a lovely time creating their own Halloween canvases. Sue was absolutely wonderful with the children — so friendly, patient and encouraging, making sure they both felt involved and enjoyed every moment. It was lovely to see them getting creative, having fun and coming away so proud of what they had made. A huge thank you to Sue for making the workshop such a positive and enjoyable experience. We would definitely book again and would highly recommend these workshops to other families looking for a fun, creative activity for their children away from screens for a bit !
- 5/5 from Stacey, attended Oct 2026: Lovely activity. It was the staff members first time running this workshop and she was lovely. Friendly and really engaging with the children

- 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Oct 2026: The teacher, Lara, was very patient and attentive. We were a class of only 1 but my granddaughter was able to focus on what she wanted to paint and draw. We had a wide choice of materials, especially paint colours. Different papers and other embellishments were available. The time flew by!

- 4/5 from Jo Sommerlad, attended Oct 2026: My boys loved this, and they made the most of the wonderful resources made available to create canvases with every bit of craft material available on them. I would have liked a bit more direction and ideas to the workshop, rather than just letting them lose, but it was a really fun hour for them - thank you!
