Recent reviews of Make a Bag from Upcycled Denim Workshop
- 5/5 from Lucy Day, attended Jan 2026: My two daughters and I had a wonderful time with Rachel. We made really fun bags and she was great with the kids. A thoroughly lovely way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. Thank you again Rachel...
Your teacher
I love bringing vintage fabrics back to life with embroidery and upcycling. Initially introduced to sewing and crochet by my mum and gran, I drifted away from the craft in my teens. However, later rediscovered my passion for needlework and fully embraced it.I enjoy the playful aspects of embroidery, preferring a style that's whimsical and not overly precise. I hugely value sustainability and support local initiatives. I take discarded fabrics and transform them into something beautiful, giving them a new purpose.I've been called eccentric, creative and fun-loving which I am all over! I love learning and teaching and feel that nothing is too weird. My workshops are not only about learning a skill, but also about connecting with others and promoting sustainability through mending.
