Design Your “Pocket Pet
Sketch your own animal design using a simple template as a guide. Whether it’s a cat, dog, or something more imaginative, guidance will be provided along the way.
Build the Base Shape
Choose your felt base colour and begin forming the core structure of your animal brooch by layering and felting the wool.
Add Features & Details
Bring your “pocket pet” to life by adding colours, patterns, and facial features to give it personality and charm.
Attach the Brooch Back
Finish your piece by attaching a brooch pin to the back (glued or stitched), ready to wear or gift.

During that time, I developed a passion for helping people translate ideas into finished pieces through clear, step-by-step guidance. Whether participants are complete beginners or experienced makers, my aim is to make the creative process approachable, enjoyable, and rewarding.I love teaching because making allows us to transform ideas and feelings into something you can see, touch, use, or even wear. Every piece is uniquely yours, and seeing people feel proud and happy when their ideas come to life is what keeps me inspired to teach.Alongside workshops, I create handmade ceramic accessories and homeware, with selected pieces stocked at ChillChillCats Goodies & Craftroom in Leeds Corn Exchange.
