NEW 45 minute workshop!
Roll up your sleeves and get stuck in with our slime making workshops! You'll have everything you need for getting creative with DIY slime and make your very own batch choosing from a range of colours and textures, making your goo unique.
This is a great way to encourage their creative flair, with an expert Hobbycraft colleague on hand to guide them through each step. This workshop is designed to encourage children to get making and it’s sure to inspire them for even more slime making fun.
Workshop suitable for ages 3+ years. All kids’ craft workshops require adult supervision. One ticket is required per child.
Please note: Messy aprons are not supplied. We would recommend bringing your own or wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Additionally, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.
This workshop is also available as a private workshop for group bookings of 4+. Please note capacity varies per store. Please ask store upon request.

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

I felt it was great value for money to make 3 slimes and get a jar to put them in and a bag to carry them. The teacher was friendly and knowledgeable and sent out a message after class of how to get slime out of clothing. She was very helpful during the class with the children. My children enjoyed the class as it's also something current and are in the 'slime phase'. The only downside was it was a 45 minute class and we were there for over an hour. I was happy to stay longer, as the children were still busy, but I feel the time needs to be altered accordingly, not only for parents/attendees to know, but also so staff have a fair amount of time to complete the class without feeling the time restraints. I am already looking out for other classes to attend with my children.

Unfortunately the lady who took the class made almost no conversation with any of them. They left the class 15 minutes early as the silence was so awkward. I thought the advert said they’d make 3 different types of slime and assumed this would be each but they made 3 lots between them. I got this class while it was reduced and it was good value for money but the experience as a whole could have been better.
