Sew Creative is a sewing school and fabric shop, based in Altrincham, South Manchester. From our humble beginnings when we rented a table in the local haberdashery store, we have now grown to be in our own high street location, offering not only a range of beautiful fabrics, but also sewing classes for everyone aged 6+. At Sew Creative, our mission is to foster a vibrant, inclusive space where creativity flourishes. We offer a variety of classes, specialist workshops, and events designed for all skill levels and ages. Whether it's our popular "Intro to Sewing" classes or more advanced classes on garment construction, quilting, and embroidery, we ensure that every student finds a path to grow. Our passionate, qualified instructors are committed to creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment for all our students, whatever their level. Our sessions are all small and welcoming — haven’t sewn since high school? Don't worry, absolutely no prior sewing experience is required, as the classes are tailored towards you, and are therefore suitable for absolute beginners and advanced seamstresses alike. When we’re not teaching our regular classes, we are hosting birthday parties, hen parties and baby showers, as well as kids holiday clubs and adult seasonal workshops. We also sell a range of gorgeous fabrics, sourcing across Europe to bring you seasonal, fashion forward fabric, as well as a range of fabulous independent pattern brands. At Sew Creative, we pride ourselves on our friendly, open and passionate approach. So whether you are coming to stock up your fabric stash, or you are attending a class, we look forward to seeing you soon!
