- 5/5 from Helen Farrell, attended Mar 2025: What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! Kim is an excellent tutor and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Everything was clearly and easily explained and I was so impressed with what I'd made! I cannot wait to see how they turn out after firing!
- 5/5 from Katy Ellis, attended Mar 2025: I booked this class for myself and my mother, and we were making tiny trinkets with clay. The teacher was very engaging and made the session accessible and easy for beginners, and was very encouraging. The craft itself was really fun and I can’t wait to see our creations when they’re ready.
- 4/5 from Helen Nicolson, attended Mar 2025: Relaxed and enjoyable. Good value, with all materials provided and artwork taken away to be fired and returned.

Creating space to connect; We create analogue art experiences that invite people to unplug create, and connect. Using tactile materials, intuitive collaging, and, our special sauce - the satisfying clickety-clack of typewriters. Our touring art workshop is all about slowing down, getting hands-on, and making space for creativity and irl human connection.Cutting, layering, typing, and experimenting in ways that feel playful and accessible to everyone is what we love to facilitate. We used to be at one static location but decided to go back to our roots and take the workshops on tour! - As we travel from place to place, the workshop has become a welcoming creative space where community forms through the simple act of making together, passing around materials, swapping stories, and encouraging each other’s work. At Creative Lab It’s really not about polished outcomes or elite artistic skill, but about presence, expression, and the joy of creating something meaningful by hand, connecting with others and enjoying the sense of well-being that comes from all that in-person, analogue, arty goodness.
