Our friendly instructors will guide them through the tie-dye process, demonstrating various techniques and offering helpful tips along the way.
Once their masterpieces are complete, your children will proudly take home their newly transformed t-shirts or vests. Please note that the provided t-shirts may be slightly oversized, but you are welcome to bring your own

  • 5/5 from Charmaine Charles, attended Aug 2025: Jess and the team were very friendly and patient with my little one (5 years). All resources were provided and the activity was explained. Health and safety covered as the childern were given gloves and aprons. A defo a recommendation for budding artists.
  • 3/5 from Rykesha Hudson, attended Aug 2025: My daughter really enjoyed this class. She’s very happy with her creation. However, I was a little bit disappointed. It says it is a 1-hr class but it was over in 30mins! It just didn’t feel like good value for money. On occasions when it’s a small group (there was 6 of us), I think the kids should be offered a second item to tie dye. That could be another t-shirt or maybe a tote bag, or even a pair of socks! I also think it would have been good for the instructor to actually demonstrate each step with her own t-shirt first and then get the kids to have a go. Another suggestion could have been to start the session with a little child-friendly history of tie-dye. The instructor was very friendly and helped the children when they needed it. The space is very beautiful - the walls are adorned with wonderful artwork.
  • 5/5 from Vanessa Jumeau, attended Aug 2024: My girl has been asking to do tie dye since the start of summer so when I saw that ArtPlay was running a kids workshop I had to book! Nova loved it and her teacher Naomi was great. Friendly, patient and helpful! She's so pleased with the results of her creation too! I think the class is great value for money. The tee shirt and materials are all covered by the £9 fee. Definitely will be returning to check out the other kids workshops.
