The Little Craftery opened in July 2017 in Field Row, Worthing, providing a light, relaxed and friendly creative space to help people enjoy a wide variety of crafts. We believe that crafts should be for everyone, so anyone over the age of 16 is welcome! Classes are kept small so each attendee can enjoy the full attention of our lovely teachers in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

We offer classes in macrame, jewellery making (beading, silversmithing and chainmaille), candle making, felting, origami and more! We're always coming up with new classes, so keep your eyes peeled for anything new that catches your attention.

If you're celebrating a birthday, hen party, office outing or just want to get some friends together for a catch up over a cup of tea and some crafts, we can arrange private sessions to suit you. Just get in touch and we'll be happy to help organise a fun day or evening's crafting!

I really enjoyed the class. Wendy was a great teacher and the venue is really welcoming, and full of interesting crafty things. It was eye-opening to see how lovely and varied papers could be made from the contents of my paper shredding bin. I left filled with inspiration and skills to make paper from recycling materials and found items from nature. A wonderful way to spend the afternoon - thank you Wendy.

A lovely class in a welcoming cosy venue. Wendy was patient and encouraging and provided plenty of cups of tea. There was a great choice of tiles & tesserai, and Wendy gave lots of practical advice while helping us to realise our own design ideas. I was really pleased with the results and will be back for more classes!

This was a new craft myself and my friend were learning. We arrived to a warm welcome by Wendy at Little Craftery. Wendy was a superb teacher she explained things in an easy to follow way j closing demonstrating everything. She gave us all the time we needed and was very patient.
Will definitely be returning to Wendy to learn more crafts. Highly recommended thanks so much for a lovely morning so enjoyable and relaxed.

We had a relaxing morning making 3 personalised sheets of silk paper. Can’t wait for it to dry & start using it…then making some at home!
The Little Craftery is a lovely calm venue & perfectly situated in Worthing with lunch on the beach after our workshop.

Lovely venue, small and comfortable. Tuition was great, very clearly explained. Materials were appropriate for task, tools also, ready enjoyed making a bracelet and Earrings using this method, bit tricky at first but once got the hang of it was really nice thing to do. All very good and so pleased to have done it

Easily one of the best courses I've done. Wendy is lovely and patient, and super willing to tailor the experience to her students. The Little Craftery is a sweet little venue and so central in Worthing. I learnt more than I expected and went home with more than I expected to, absolutely cannot recommend enough.

I had a great morning with Wendy learning how to make lampshades in her cosy, crafty studio. The course was thorough, informative and very relaxed despite running over time a little & Wendy was a supportive & knowledgeable teacher. Apart from supplying your own choice of fabric, everything else was supplied including coffee. All in all, a fun experience and good value for money.

The lampshade making course was amazing, really useful information and clear instructions. The lampshades we made are in pride of place next to our bed. The venue is lovely and Wendy has some other courses that we’ll be sure to book onto too!

We had a wonderful experience, a lovely gentle time together for our first wedding anniversary making paper. We made our own deckle and then made new paper from
Old, choosing from a colourful and fragrant array of additions - lavender, poppyseeds and hibiscus flowers; glitter, skeleton leaves and cornflowers. We had plenty of time to make 4 or 5 pieces of paper which allowed us to fully learn the steps required without being rushed, and we took our creations home carefully laid flat in a folder. I can’t wait to try out the mosaic class here.

Fantastic find - lovely little shop in a quiet location, all resources provided and choice of further resources to buy to continue practicing. Teacher was lovely, really relaxed and helpful - I’ll definitely be returning to do more classes. Overall, great value for money snd 3 hours well spent. Thank you The Little Craftery : )
