Searching for a new crafty experience? Perhaps you're a proud plant parent who needs some fancy new homes for your prized perennials? Whether you're looking for ways to get creative at the weekend, or you're a green-fingered guru who's running out of shelf space, this macrame plant hanger class will tick all the boxes!
Your talented teacher and crafting pro, Wendy, will greet you at the door and begin the macrame class with a brief introduction to the craft. You'll learn everything there is to know about macrame patterns and different materials, before being taken step-by-step through the basic knots and techniques. Then, you'll be supplied with your own macrame kit, and Wendy will show you how to transform your lengths of cord into a beautifully retro DIY plant hanger. She'll stay on hand the whole time to make sure you don't tie yourself up in knots – and to supply the all-important tea and biscuits. After all, learning macrame is thirsty work!
Crafty newbie? 'Knot' had any experience with macrame before? Don't worry – this class is suitable for beginners, so even complete novices can join in and get creative with cord. All macrame supplies are included, so you don't need to worry about bringing anything – just yourself and your creativity!
At the end of the macrame class, you'll head home with a beautiful DIY plant hanger, and plenty of crafty new skills to carry on your macrame journey at home!

The Little Craftery opened in July 2017 in Field Row, Worthing, providing a light, relaxed and friendly creative space to help people enjoy a wide variety of crafts. We believe that crafts should be for everyone, so anyone over the age of 16 is welcome! Classes are kept small so each attendee can enjoy the full attention of our lovely teachers in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
We offer classes in macrame, jewellery making (beading, silversmithing and chainmaille), candle making, felting, origami and more! We're always coming up with new classes, so keep your eyes peeled for anything new that catches your attention.
If you're celebrating a birthday, hen party, office outing or just want to get some friends together for a catch up over a cup of tea and some crafts, we can arrange private sessions to suit you. Just get in touch and we'll be happy to help organise a fun day or evening's crafting!
