The Barn. Heswell.

This is our second workshop with Sammy and as before we all enjoyed our time with her. She is incredibly patient, professional and informative.
My only sadness is that the class didn’t go on for as long as we thought (2-4pm) but that still didn’t spoil our time with Sammy.

The teacher was lively, fun and happy. The venue was interesting and entertainingly arty. We were lucky to get chairs with a back rest, I wouldn’t have liked a place with no back support. The materials were fine and the use and application fun. Good value and entertaining. We were part of a really friendly group and we laughed a lot. The event was a gift from our son.

After a bit of a hiccup with the venue we were welcomed at the new venue by Sami.
All the equipment we required was nicely set out and Sami was very thorough with her advice and guidance The two and a half hour lesson flew by and we all enjoyed the cakes and drinks that we had towards the end of the session, whilst we all admired our creations.
Just one observation was that we wished we’d been advised to take aprons at the stage of booking and not on the day prior to the lesson.
Thank you Sami for a lovely morning ,we are now all nicely into the Christmas spirit.

The teacher Sam was absolutely amasing. She really walked us through every part of making the candle. It was very interesting.

The venue was lovely. Cozy but really appropriate. There was a shop and you had a lot to choose from.

What I loved the most was sharing an experience with a friend creating something beautiful.

What I think could improve is having more information with the cocktails side. They were lovely but a bit more history of how they were made would have been top notch.
