What you'll do
Learn to decoupage and gild to create your own trinket dish from an oyster shell at this craft class in the Wirral.
You'll be guided by an expert tutor in a warm and friendly workshop environment to create two upcycled oyster shell trinket dishes to take home with you.
Through hands-on tuition, you'll be taught how to decoupage using paper and will make a stunning trinket dish that will look almost like it's been hand-painted!
Decoupage involves cutting out images from paper, glueing them to a surface and coating your image with varnish to create a stunning effect. You'll gild the edges of your dish, adding a beautiful gold outline and finish off your piece.
By the end of your craft class, you'll have two beautiful trinket dishes to take away with you to use at home for your little treasures. If you can bear to part with them, your finished dishes would also make wonderful handmade gifts!
As well as your handmade dishes, you'll go home with lots of new knowledge and skills on decoupaging that you can use for future craft projects.
