I am a fabric sculptor, decorative artist, and certified tutor based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. My name is Vanessa, and believe everyone has the ability to create something beautiful, so I am here to give you a very warm welcome to my studio and guide you step-by-step from start to finish with whatever project you choose to do.I am a Level 4 Certified Powertex Tutor and teach people how to create unusual, fun and beautiful weatherproof pieces which look fabulous both indoors or out. In addition, as a Certified Decorative Artist, I also teach traditional Folk, Canal Art and decorative painting. I love nothing more than bringing out the inner creative in people and watching them glow as they see what they have achieved, despite the initial doubts some have about their abilities.I will help you unlock your creative potential while exploring the versatile world of Powertex or the beautiful storytelling traditions of Folk Art and Canal Art. No experience is necessary. Joining my workshops is all about discovery, learning new techniques and, most importantly, having fun in a safe, relaxed and welcoming environment.Something dear to my heart is mental health and wellbeing, and how engaging in a creative activity greatly benefits our mental health and overall wellbeing.
