Hello, I’m Liv and I’m the owner of Sweet Bud. I began my floristry career 11 years ago in Doncaster after completing a level 3 floristry diploma. For the past few years I have worked as a senior florist in Manchester, making daily bouquets, giving advice to customers on flowers and plants, as well as designing and installing large scale projects.

The idea for sweet bud came when I realised how little most florists care about the impact they have on the environment. Florist materials such as floral foam and plastics are prolifically used in the industry even though they have been banned by most florist societies. The Royal Horticulture Society (RHS) banned all use of floral foam at their flower show events. My aim is to help educate others on the impact of using these and show alternative methods of floral design that won’t damage our planet.
