What if I cant make the date or want to cancel?
Once purchased, the course is non refundable. If however we have enough notice to refill your place we are happy to move you to an alternative date.
Is this suitable for children?
Children over the age of 13 who are supervised by an adult may participate. As we are working with glass and heat (solder irons) it is important that all participants follow safety instructions from the tutors.
I am disabled, am I able to do this course?
The building is accessed up one step and through a long hallway, to the workshop room. Note there are areas that are not wheelchair accessible. You can sit or stand at a table to do the work. You will of course be using your hands but If you need help with any of the specific processes (eg cutting the glass) we can help you, or do that stage for you before you move onto the next stage. Just get in touch if you have any concerns and we will go through options for you.
Can you accommodate my dietary requirements?
Please let us know what your dietary requirements are 48 hours before the course, so we can accommodate.

Cutting and Grinding the Glass
After deciding on your pattern and the glass you want to use, you next cut the glass and grind it to fit to the pattern.
Soldering
After cutting and grinding, copper foil is added to the glass edges and then comes soldering. Soldering the pieces together is very satisfying, bringing your pieces together to one cohesive piece.
Showing Off Your Work
After soldering, cleaning and polishing you proudly display your piece and let the light show off the glass!
