We’re Bev and John, the creative partnership behind Crafted Wood & Glass, based in South Lincolnshire.Between us, we have over 20 years’ experience teaching adults in a variety of settings, and we love sharing our skills, enthusiasm and passion for learning with others. Our stained glass courses combine our love of this beautiful traditional craft with our belief that it’s never too late to learn something new.We believe learning a craft should be about much more than simply mastering a technique. It’s about trying something new, discovering what you can create, enjoying the process and, of course, having plenty of fun and laughter along the way!We particularly love the moment when a student looks at their finished piece and realises, *“I made that!”* There’s something incredibly satisfying about leaving a workshop with a beautiful piece of stained glass that you have created yourself.Our teaching experience has taught us that everyone learns differently, so we take a friendly, patient and encouraging approach. We keep our classes small, with a maximum of four students, so that everyone receives plenty of individual attention and support throughout the session.You’ll be able to choose a project from our selection of carefully designed stained glass patterns, and we’ll guide you through each stage of the process, from choosing your glass and cutting your pieces through to foiling and soldering your finished creation.Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience already, we’ll help you learn at your own pace and, most importantly, enjoy the experience.Come along, learn a new skill, have some fun, and leave with something beautiful that you’ve made yourself.
