The Great Pottery Throw Down shows the beauty of clay — now feel it for yourself!On the night, our friendly ceramic tutor will demonstrate and guide you through all the skills you need to make a unique spiral bowl. They will show you special pottery techniques to help you build interesting spirals and patterns, so that you will feel confident making your own professional-looking bowl - can be for functional ware!At the end of the night, you will leave your pieces at the studio to be bisque-fired and dipped in a earthenware glaze of your choice, which will be posted within 4-8 weeks weeks.This mindful session is a great way to catch up with friends or colleagues while making an artistic bowl to keep. Come and discover the therapeutic joy of clay!For private bookings; come to us (maximum 32), or we can come to your venue/premises; any size parties and ideal for corporate team building, or sustainable business events. We don’t have a maximum number, depending on your event/venue capacity.It is £54 per person for private bookings for 2-2.5 hour workshop plus travel expenses. We are flexible with timing: day, evening, or weekend - according to availability.If you are a registered charity, we can offer discounts for group bookings.If you want to book this for a young person (12yrs+) or come together, please speak to us - we are happy to help.Join us at our stunning centre, or we can come to your space: community venue, workplace, or home. Priced per person plus travel. We can vary class timings. Day, evening, or weekend bookings. We can host up to 50 people across our centre, with our large studio accommodating up to 30. If we come to you and the venue has capacity, the numbers are unlimited! We have full insurance, risk assessments, safeguarding and all required procedures in place to safely deliver outreach sessions.Proceeds go towards our community art projects, providing mental well-being and creative health, especially for those facing barriers. · Professional tools and materials and aprons are provided. Firing, earthenware glazing, and postage are all included in the ticket cost.· Refreshments including a glass of wine/bottle of beer if desired, unlimited tea and coffee, soft drinks, and nibbles.· Your finished spiral bowl will be carefully wrapped and posted to you within one month.
