Spiced Roots, a Caribbean restaurant in Oxford established in 2016.I grew up around real Caribbean cooking everything made from scratch, full of flavour, culture and pride. That foundation shaped how I approach everything we do. For me, it’s never just been about food. It’s about creating experiences and bringing people together.Over the last 10 years, we’ve built more than a restaurant. We host rum masterclasses, cultural events and now Sip & Paint sessions blending creativity with Caribbean energy. I love teaching because it’s about sharing something meaningful, whether that’s culture, flavour or simply giving people space to relax and create.We’ve been featured in local press, catered for universities and corporate events and built a strong community following in Oxford.What makes us different? Everything we do is authentic, intentional and rooted in culture and when people walk into our space, they feel it.
