Join Jeanne and bring your smartphone camera, and we will explore Hertford’s charming canal, with its boat life, wildflowers, and birdlife where you will find some truly amazing photo opportunities, whilst learning how to make the most of the camera we carry with us everywhere!
Hertford's recorded history dates back to Saxon times and has played host to many kings and queens along the way.
Hertford Basin is the first canal basin located on the River Lee and is surrounded by the beautiful vast green space of Hartham Common, which is home to lots of wildlife, cattle-grazed meadows, and a network of paths. We will discover how to edit your photos using one of the most intuitive free editing apps available.
Whether you're joining a public class solo, bringing along a few friends, or hosting a birthday party with a difference, you'll learn some nifty new techniques for framing and shooting amazing photographs, unlocking the potential of the camera you carry with you all the time: your phone.
