Confirmations and communications were prompt and clear. The class leader made contact the day before the event with very clear instructions regarding what to do beforehand and where to meet. The group size was small (3 plus the leader, 1 had cancelled due to illness), the leader was friendly, polite, knowledgable, and the pace and content of the class was good. Overall, I really enjoyed this experience (despite some Manchester weather!).

But he was so patient and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to spend a couple of hours in his company, highly recommended

Jack took us on interesting places around the city centre and gave us lots of tips about taking photos in a different way and also how to edit after. Highly recommend.

Jack is a great teacher, very friendly, knowledgeable and good at explaining. I really enjoyed my lesson, Jack helped me a wide variety of techniques and applied them to topics that are of interest to me. I learned a huge amount and I'm really looking forward to putting it into practice. I would highly recommend this class

A combination of simple tips combined with different techniques and some great editing options have transformed our photographic ability. Jack is a very knowledgeable and creative photographer, his delivery style and attention to detail suited our limited experience and individual styles. The walk around Manchester was really interesting and the presentation of the camera skills calmly and professionally delivered by Jack. We would highly recommend this course which will take your camera phone photography to a different level.

Jack navigated around the throngs and showed me some long lost views and places id forgotten how pretty the architecture is in Manchester particularly on a sunny day. He taught some easy techniques with my android samsung A55 smartphone. He was knowledgeable and had a full grasp of Apple & android. Framing is easier now as is editing with the app he showed me how to use. Thanks Jack ill recommend this class. I learnt a lot.

We covered composition, focussing, lighting, editing and an extra bit on how to blur water. Can't wait to try it all out on my next holiday!!

However the teacher Jack brought the whole thing to life for, he was very clear in his instruction and was never rushed. Jack was obviously very knowledgeable about his subject and made the afternoon an enjoyable experience. The thing I liked most was that no assumption was made about prior knowledge, this helped me a great deal in the learning process.
