Teacher was very knowledgeable about folk art and was able to go through it all step by step with me, encouraging me every step of the way. She demonstrated each little bit first before I had a go. She explained why certain techniques were used and how to develop them. The items were of good quality and I am impressed with the sketch book too. Thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing session, which I will continue to practice at home.

From start to finish, Dawn explained everything step by step. Her demonstrations were at my pace and any questions, she answered them fully. All the materials needed were provided either in the box or from Dawn (scissors, pencil). I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher and I was able to create a wonderful piece of embroidery. Dawn did provide a piece of material with the template already drawn on, which did help! I can’t recommend this workshop enough!

Teacher was fantastic- great knowledge and understanding of Lino printing and set us at ease. Venue was great. Relaxed. Most of the products were great value however the black ink/paint provided didn’t d what it should. The paper stuck to the Lino causing it to rip. I bought essdee block printing ink from the store, tried it at home and that worked a treat. I would like more courses, especially the floral painting which I’m on a waiting list for.
