  • 5/5 from Alice Hirst, attended Oct 2026: Super insight into paint pouring. Excited to get experimenting at home now. Sue was excellent
  • 5/5 from Heather Donohoe, attended Feb 2026: Class was great. Tutor was really helpful and knowledgeable and friendly bunch of fellow students. Really enjoyed exploring paint pouring in a suitable environment for make a mess!
  • 5/5 from Gillian Margaret Scott Greenway, attended Dec 2025: Had a great time. Super lady leaing us through what was a new craft to us all. Great kit as still so much to take home in addition to the things we made in the session, so good value for money. Be aware it's best to leave the items to dry off for a few days at Hobbycraft.
  • 5/5 from Mrs Lucy C McGill, attended Nov 2025: Really good fun kind of like I was expecting but also not :) Loved doing it and anita was a grea teacher :) Thank you!
  • 4/5 from Emily Storey, attended Nov 2025: Was a super fun activity. Was great that we could take the rest of the kit home to do more at home. Was a small group so was a nice atmosphere. I think the demonstration could have been more in-depth, and planned out. However the teacher was lovely and had great answers to any questions. Would recommend and do another class in the future.
  • 5/5 from Susie Bay, attended Aug 2025: This Workshop is fantastic. The tutor, Anita, was very friendly and knowledgeable and she didn't mind repeating things several times, if necessary, which it was with me as I always seemed to be lagging behind the others, but I was never made to feel a nuisance or rushed. I am thrilled with the set of 4 coasters that I made under Anita's as-and-when-needed supervision. They won't be used as coasters, though, as I couldn't stand it if they got anything spilt on them (!) so I am going to frame them and put them up on a wall! The Workshop is fantastic value for money, not only for the teaching but for the very comprehensive Pouring Paint Set that is included in the Workshop fee, plus four blank coasters and four 25cm x 20 cm canvas boards - which I can't wait to pour some more paint onto!
  • 4/5 from Lynn, attended May 2025: Had a brilliant time. Teacher was friendly, knowledgeable & engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed having 1-2-1 session. This was a paint workshop & plenty of reminders prior to the event & that it could be messy. The only drawbock was the fact that the shop was understaffed - I only saw 3 people including my teacher so we were interrupted several times. I’m looking forward to collecting my finished artwork tomorrow & would encourage others to try it.
  • 5/5 from Miss, attended Nov 2024: Really enjoyed our acrylic paint pouring workshop at Hobbycraft, Milton Keynes today as part of our girls day out. Fun session with lots of different techniques to try. Sue's enthusiasm was infectious! Yes, it does get a bit messy but all part of the fun! Highly recommend. Will be choosing another activity very soon
  • 5/5 from Hayley Loy, attended Aug 2024: Really fun session that I took my teenage niece to. We took longer than the hour but we weren't hurried to go faster. Left our pieces (canvas and coasters) there to dry and will collect later. Very patient and helpful teacher, thank you!
  • 5/5 from Sally, attended Jul 2024: Occasion was activity interest. Anita, the teacher knew what she was doing and shared it very nicely.. Craft box was super, we can do more acrylic paint pouring with it at home. Good value for money, I loved the outcome and will certainly display in on my wall.
  • 5/5 from Amy Jagger, attended Jan 2024: The teacher was absolutely fantastic, relaxed for a good fun type of messy activity, friendly and enthusiastic with lots of knowledge and examples. We learned a lot and also loved the presentation pack of materials, which had plenty leftover to try more at home. Looking forward to picking up our dried & finished work! We will definitely come again for another activity.

  • 5/5 from Jan Lund, attended Aug 2023: We had a fantastic time and everyone was super helpful and accommodating for my granddaughter who has cerebral palsy. We had a private lesson with Nanny Sue who taught us different poring techniques and talked through different options/choices for decorating our pieces. The kit you get with the course is incredible. We made a canvas and 4 coasters and still have lots of paint left for new projects at home.
