I'm Sara and I originally trained as a technical illustrator but now work part-time as a scientific illustrator at a large university where I produce illustrations and animations for science courses. I also love drawing animals mostly in pencils, pastels and watercolour. I try to focus in on their eyes to really capture their character.

During the past couple of years I have also gone back to doing printmaking, drypoint specifically. I love drypoint printing as there is no need for the use of acids and can easily be done at home.

About 6 years ago I did a teacher training course and now I run workshops for animal pastel drawing and drypoint printing. I run them at a beautiful, quiet farm location overlooking a valley in a fully accessible building. The workshops are fun, friendly and relaxed.
