What you'll do
Whether you're a beginner or simply looking to rediscover the joy of printmaking, this Manchester class is designed just for you! Step into the enchanting world of lino printing, hosted by your talented teacher, Paula.
Embark on an artistic journey using images inspired by nature's beauty – think flowers, shrubs, leaves, and majestic trees! With expert guidance, you'll learn the ins and outs of creating your very own prints.
Paula will provide all the tools and materials necessary for your masterpiece to come to life – from a variety of ink colours and high-quality paper to unique handmade and hand-tinted paper.
You will learn printing skills in the cosy ambience of Paula's garden studio. In this intimate setting with a maximum of two guests, you will receive personalised support and guidance and immerse yourself in a fun craft.

What to bring
A specific image you wish to work from (optional). Try to ensure it is the size of a normal photograph but printed on paper. Try to make sure it is a clear and simple image.

I am a fine art graduate and art teacher up to A Level and GCSE. I am also a professional artist specialising in lino printing. I have discovered that printmaking is a perfect process for creating art that celebrates the natural environment and it enables me to make images of the places I love to explore.
I love making lino prints and want to share my skills with you. I always thought print making was for other people until I began to experiment with the process and have not looked back. I make very detailed and experimental prints. I want to help you discover the artistic possibilities print making provides.
Some of my work can be found in the Whitworth Art Gallery Shop and the Manchester Museum.
