What you'll do
Join us for a very special, peaceful evening of life drawing. Taking place at Stockport-based Michelin Guide restaurant, Where The Light Gets In. In this guided session, you'll explore your drawing skills and take some 'me time' to express your creativity.Our model will be posing alongside still-life displays of produce to celebrate the harvest season, creating varied compositions and visual textures for you to work with. The produce is supplied by the restaurant's own allotment at The Landing in Stockport.All materials will be provided, plus some delicious snacks and a glass of wine. This really is a special one not to be missed. The restaurant has a long waitlist, so it's a great opportunity to try some of their delicious offerings!Drawing prompts and guidance are included for anyone new to drawing. This will be a relaxing candlelit evening by the fire.

Hi, I'm Rebecca, an artist and life drawing facilitator based in Manchester. I really believe in the value of taking some time for peace and drawing really can provide a soft landing space for rejuvenation and some much needed time off your phone! Join me for a relaxing and cosy workshops that are a great way to spend time with loved ones and friends. Sessions are guided to remove any overwhelm for inexperienced drawers or people that aren't sure where to start but equally suitable for the more frequent drawer. The intention is for you to be able to relax and enjoy 2 hours of creativity. Workshop themes vary and now include still life displays with our models, to create richer visual palette for you to work with. Refreshments often provided in the ticket price (dependent on venue).
