First we will paint the white stag onto the wood slice - I have pre-outlined it to make it super easy.


Collage the background

Then we collage on the background with decoupage paper in a choice of patterns and glue. It will come with a hook that's easy to attach.

Come along to this festive workshop and use paint and decoupage paper to collage this lovely Christmas stag onto a natural wood slice. Your finished piece comes with a hook, making it ready to hang up with your festive decor.
To make it extra easy, the stag is pre-sketched onto the wood, so no experience is necessary! You will learn tips and techniques from your friendly guide and enjoy a creative and fun night out.
All equipment is provided for you. Drinks and snacks are available to purchase from the bar throughout the session, and there will be a short break in the middle.
You'll leave the class feeling accomplished and full of festive spirit, taking home your beautiful, unique stag decoration on its natural wood slice, ready to display.
Please note: You may want to bring an apron. Sometimes a clip-on reading light or head torch is useful.

Whilst developing a range of paint-by-numbers kits, an interest in making art accessible to those without specific training grew. This led to the creation of ‘Make a Masterpiece’, translating beautiful landscapes and wildlife designs into easy to achieve guided painting and craft events for adults and children. People are genuinely surprised and delighted at what they have achieved, surpassing their expectations. I also do private/corporate events.
Being a professional Illustrator and Designer has enabled me to develop a range of easy to achieve, rewarding artworks and to have an understanding of current trends/popular themes.
