One-to-one Cricut Workshop

Join us in store and talk to a craft expert for tips and advice on your Cricut machine or project!

1 hour Class size 1 on 1       £28

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague one-to-one and ask any questions you have about your Cricut machine! Stuck on a project? Need help with Design Space? Trying to get to grips with using a new material? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for all Cricut users, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need about your machine. Whether you’re crafting with a Maker, a Joy, Joy Xtra or an Explore machine, you’ll be able to get excellent insight for all kinds of projects. It’s a great way to get a feel for your new machine or learn about features you’re not as confident with yet.
During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Hobbycraft Colleague know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.
You’re sure to walk away a Cricut crafting pro, ready to start making your next big project!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Please note: If you would like to discuss the Foil Transfer Tool, Knife Blade, “Print Then Cut” feature, “Curved Text” feature or “Offset” we would recommend that you book on to one of our online one-to-one Cricut workshop sessions as we are currently unable to demonstrate these features in-store due to them being for the desktop version of Design Space only.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Nov 2024: Great workshop. The staff member was very knowledgeable and helpful. I chose to do this workshop prior to buying a cricut to see if it would be suitable for want to do and I can say definitely yes and I know which machine will suit me best. I’ll probably do another workshop once I get going with the machine.

  • 3/5 from Jane Smith, attended Sep 2023: It would have been better if I could have used the correct materials, but was offered what was opened, soi not given the option to take my project home. I think it's made me realise the cricut joy is a better starter option as I only want to print labels for storage jars at this stage & really dont have the space for a larger machine. What is the best joy bundle to make storage jar labels& how much is it?

  • 3/5 from Charlotte Bagnell, attended Oct 2022: Had the same teacher, she’s very nice A few little bumps regarding the material we was using! Given the wrong material to print (thought it was iron on but it wasn’t) then the iron on we did have went in the machine up side down So printed the wrong side learnt just as much as I did for my first course I did on Monday! Wouldn’t say this course was worth £15 Didn’t get a fat lot out of it! I know the materials I need, learnt from the first lesson I had! Again I can’t fault the teacher she was lovely I think next time I go In to buy materials I might just ask what ever questions I have instead of paying. My first course was good as I learnt about the machine and materials Unfortunately didn’t get to make anything! But I did learn the basics
  • 5/5 from Rob Pooler, attended Jul 2022: Very good, informative and most helpful for a complete novice like myself, the tutor was very knowledgeable.
  • 5/5 from Julie Fountain, attended May 2022: I booked a Cricut one to one workshop because I wanted to check out a particular feature on the machine before purchasing. I’m so glad I did! All the staff that I spoke to at the Worcester store were really helpful and George went out of her way to prepare for our session and help me as much as she could. She was knowledgeable and friendly. Now I feel like I have all the information I need to get started with my Cricut Maker. Thanks all!

  • 5/5 from Louise Masters, attended Oct 2021: I came to this class with no experience whatsoever. Abbie was fantastic and very detailed in her explanation. I visited the Worcester store which is very well stocked with all things cricut. Today we started and completed a sample project. I had all my questions (of which there were many) answered. Abbie was very knowledgeable in all aspects which was great. And to think I didn’t even know you offered workshops, until last week when I popped in and met Abbie, she recommended a hands on course, which I’m really pleased with.
  • 5/5 from Linda Bromyard, attended Aug 2021: George, the instructor, was wonderful, put me at ease immediately, very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, of which there were many. I was surprised that she produced several items for me to have a go with, which was excellent, I came home and made an anniversary card, using some techniques she taught me, The session went really quickly, I just hope I can remember the other things!
