One-to-one Cricut Workshop

Join us in store and talk to a craft expert for tips and advice on your Cricut machine or project!

1 hour Class size 1 on 1       £28

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague one-to-one and ask any questions you have about your Cricut machine! Stuck on a project? Need help with Design Space? Trying to get to grips with using a new material? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for all Cricut users, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need about your machine. Whether you’re crafting with a Maker, a Joy, Joy Xtra or an Explore machine, you’ll be able to get excellent insight for all kinds of projects. It’s a great way to get a feel for your new machine or learn about features you’re not as confident with yet.
During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Hobbycraft Colleague know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.
You’re sure to walk away a Cricut crafting pro, ready to start making your next big project!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Please note: If you would like to discuss the Foil Transfer Tool, Knife Blade, “Print Then Cut” feature, “Curved Text” feature or “Offset” we would recommend that you book on to one of our online one-to-one Cricut workshop sessions as we are currently unable to demonstrate these features in-store due to them being for the desktop version of Design Space only.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Rosamund Nancekievill, attended Jun 2026: Tanya was brilliant, as always. She was organised and ready for my class and we worked through my list of questions together. Thorough in her approach, Tanya did not move on to the next topic until she was certain that I had understood everything. She explained it all clearly and demonstrated where appropriate. We covered everything on my list in perfect time. I came away having learnt so much and ready to tackle new projects on my own. Also, very important to add, I had absolutely enjoyed the class. I can see that my Cricut Joy is a very clever, versatile little machine and I will be booking my next workshop so that I can discover even more about what it can do!

  • 4/5 from Anita Powell-Ford, attended Jun 2022: Reba, my teacher was great. She talked me through how the machine works, the apps and the website. She allowed me to play around the ipad to sue some of the templates, etc. Unfortunately, the cricut website was down or was not loading and I was not able to see the machine working in action. Reba and her colleague tried several machines and took a lot of time and effort to try to get them connected, but it did not work. They took my details and said they would speak to the manager to have me come back in for another session. I am looking forward to seeing the machine in action and very grateful for all their effort.

  • 5/5 from Anonymized Customer, attended May 2022: The teacher was absolutely first rate. She provided all the help and information that I had requested and presented it splendidly. She clearly had excellent knowledge which she imparted in a way that was very accessible. I really enjoyed my hour. Also present was another member of staff who was undergoing Cricut training. She, too was very helpful and pleasant. She had served me a little while back and had been excellent then, too. Indeed, it was on her recommendation that I booked the workshop. I'm sorry. I didn't catch the name of either lady. A couple of weeks earlier I had been in the store and had been assisted by 2 other helpful members of staff. This is not specifically relevant to the workshop I have just attended but is indicative of a pattern of pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable staff who have made visiting Hobbycraft, Bedford most agreeable. (ps the store internet connection was of variable quality. Might the store ensure that a reliable, good quality connection is available for staff needing to use it)
