Hi, I’m Claire, a proud single mother and the founder of Minikin Art Cafe that has blossomed into a beloved creative escape over the past 14 years. Back in 2010, I made a bold decision to leap from the corporate world and follow my dreams. It was a challenging transition, but I knew deep down that I wanted to create a space where people could explore their artistic side and find joy in creativity.
Since opening the doors of my art studio, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing countless individuals discover their hidden talents. My passion lies in teaching people new skills and helping them unwind while doing something they love. Whether it’s clay work, painting, or pottery painting, I strive to ensure there’s something for everyone, regardless of age or ability.
Over the past 14 years I have provided pottery painting, canvas painting and clay workshops within many setting including SEN and mainstream schools, corporate and public setting such as community centres, brownies, cubs etc.
Every day, I am reminded of the power of art to connect, heal, and inspire. Watching my café become a gathering place for families, friends, and art enthusiasts is incredibly fulfilling. It’s more than just a business; it’s a community. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my love for creativity with others and help them create lasting memories. I invite you to join us and discover the joy of artistic expression, whether it’s for one of our workshops, a hen party, or time out painting pots!
