This rug tufting workshop with Ell-Squared is perfect for beginners who are eager to learn to tuft and create something unique. Don't worry if you've never held a tufting gun before; no prior experience is required. Whether you're looking for team building activities or date ideas, Liverpool rug tufting is the answer!
Working together as a duo, you'll have two lovely and talented teachers on hand to share top tips. Starting with an introduction before moving onto hands-on practice, you'll learn plenty of new knowledge on tufting. All the yarns and tools you need will be provided!
There will be some time for you to plan designs and you can use projectors to ensure your finished rug is picture perfect! Or design right onto the canvas if you'd prefer. But your teachers are on hand to help you discover your dream rug with their portfolio of work and vivid imaginations.
You'll make a 40cm-40cm tufted masterpiece which will be backed, carved and ready to take home the same day. There are also options for displaying your work as a floor piece, table decoration or wall hanging.
In the end, not only will you have mastered the basics of tufting but also created a beautiful hand-tufted artwork that's yours to take home. This an excellent memento of this delightful thing to do in Liverpool!
Please note:
On booking you will be asked to give an idea of what rug you'd like to make and two-three yarn colours you'd like to use. You can also decide on the day with your teachers.

All materials and equipment needed to create your 40x40cm rug which will be backed and carved for you to take home on the day.
