I’m a watercolourist based in Warwickshire, sharing my passion for colour, creativity and experimentation with others.As an educator and multi-channel maker, I love exploring different paints, techniques and materials — and sharing my discoveries with the wider creative community. Being self-taught, my approach to watercolour is a little different from traditional methods, often encouraging a more expressive, playful and experimental way of painting.My process is intuitive, and I always encourage people to be themselves when they paint. I don’t want everyone to create an exact copy of my work — I want you to explore, experiment and follow your own creative instincts.One of my favourite things about teaching is seeing the different interpretations that come out of the same subject. Everyone sees and paints things differently, and watching those individual ideas emerge at the end of a class is fascinating.I believe art is for everyone. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced artist, I want my classes and workshops to be welcoming, relaxed and inspiring. No matter who you are or where you’re at in life, you deserve the opportunity to express yourself through art, have fun and discover what you’re capable of creating.Come and experiment, learn something new and, most importantly, enjoy the process!
