What you'll do
Please note: this workshop is only available to book for customers who have already purchased a separate festival ticket and are attending Elderflower Fields 2024.
Looking for a creative and exciting activity to pass the time? Try this fluid art class, where you will learn how to create stunning pieces of traditional water marbling art. Using an ancient painting technique, you'll be able to make beautiful patterns and designs on a uniquely wearable marbled cap.
Don't worry if you've never tried water marbling before; your expert instructors will provide all the assistance you need to produce your masterpiece. Under their guidance, you'll be amazed at what you can create. You'll also have plenty of fun and enjoy the experience as you learn how to paint on water and transfer your design onto a baseball cap.
By the end of the workshop, you'll get to take home your one-of-a-kind water marbling cap, and you'll be proud of what you've achieved. This is an experience that teaches you how to appreciate working with your hands, be present in the moment, and tap into your inner creative self.

Lulujoelle is an established Printed Textile and Surface Decoration designer with over 20 years experience. She also has a background in Arts Development, working with children and young adults with additional needs.
Lulu’s ideas are inspired by her travels to the Far East and the Caribbean. Lulu fell in love with travelling and the freedom it brings; “the world just takes your breath away and sets your spirit alive” is her mantra.
Lulu’s work is infused with bright, vibrant colours. Colours that make you feel alive and energise your spirit!
