My name is Guillaume, originally from Normandy in France and I am the owner of Ma Lumière. My workshop is based in Manchester and I hand pour all the products that I sell. From soy candles to reed diffusers and wax melts, Ma Lumière provides you with your complete collection of scents.

As a former Learning and Development Specialist for an e-commerce platform, I have used my skills to create exciting and engaging candle making workshops for you to come and enjoy. Make your own soy candles, choose your own fragrances, get tips throughout each step of the candle making process and understand the different fragrance notes and types of wax available in the candle making world.

Loved this class so much. The teacher, G, was absolutely lovely and his instructions were so easy to follow. There were so many scents to choose from that you could do this class with multiple groups of friends and you would come out with something different each time! Felt really good value too as we got to take home two candles!

I really enjoyed the candle making workshop last night. I had been bought the class by a friend. She doesn’t speak English so couldn’t attend, so I went by myself. The other people (in their 20s and 30s) were all in pairs or groups but they were very friendly (I’m 64). It wasn’t particularly easy to find the venue but I called the number given and eventually found my way in. Guillaume was really welcoming and informative. I’d never thought about the detail of candle making so it was really interesting and fun. My hands still smell lovely!

Guillaume holds a really fun and engaging class, he’s a patient and good teacher and was very hospitable, providing us prosecco on arrival and even personally dropping our candles off the next day as we live nearby to him. Highly recommended

G was soo lovely and knowledgable. The class was made so fun but we also had so much support when needed, it was the perfect balance. As you walked down the hallway towards the studio you could already smell the candles which was gorgeous. The candles we made had really high quality ingredients so it felt like we’d made something we could be really proud of, and the choice of scents was huge. I definitely think this class was great value for money, considering the skills learnt, the fun of the experience itself, and especially the two gorgeous candles we went home with. Would definitely recommend to anyone ️ Thanks G!

Great class size! It was abit of a squeeze and it’s a standing class but it was timed just right. G was clear and concise with his instructions. He also allowed a lot of interaction time and was always around to help if needed. Definitely a better facilitator and teacher than a lot of other private classes I’ve paid for.

Quality ingredients and 2 good long lasting candles to take home. I couldn’t resist getting some of his ready made candles as well with the post class 20% off! The candles smell so divine! The location was easy to get to with lots of parking. Read the welcome email - it’s got all the details you need to find it. Definitely recommend!

The class had a lovely, fun and relaxing atmosphere. Guillaume is a great host and a excellent teacher who made everyone feel welcomed. He is very informative and everything is well explained and easy to follow. I really enjoyed making the candles and learnt so much in that short period. Beautiful fragrances and so many to choose from. It’s a class worth trying out.
