Hello, I’m Liz, founder of Love Heartwood Turning School.

I offer hands-on woodturning workshops that make thoughtful, memorable gifts—perfect for anyone who enjoys learning something new or spending time being creative.

My sessions are relaxed, welcoming and easy to follow, even if you’ve never used a lathe before. With step-by-step guidance, you’ll create your own beautiful wooden piece to take home, along with the confidence to keep exploring the craft.

Workshops range from short taster sessions to full-day experiences, making them ideal for birthdays, special occasions, or simply carving out time to try something different. Gift vouchers are also available, so your recipient can choose a date that suits them.

I prioritise sustainability by using locally sourced wood and planting a tree for every attendee.
