Lisa is a textile designer, printmaker and all-around arty soul from Manchester. After starting her successful House of Payne online store, she now runs regular life drawing classes throughout Manchester.

The instructor was great and gave lots of great drawing prompts. The model chose a wide variety of poses which kept it interesting. There was lots of options for materials and it was all very well stocked and there was a lovely cheese selection at half time. I got it for my friend as a birthday present and she loved it

I'd never done life drawing before but I really enjoyed this class! I was worried I would feel uncomfortable but everyone was really nice and I felt at ease. The prompts to get us started were really good, and the model made sure everyone got varied angles and poses. I would definitely sign up to this again.

Life Drawing with Hop was a fabulous evening spent! Bought the class for a Christmas present for four of us and we all really enjoyed the session! The Ducie Street Warehouse venue is fabulous. The materials were great and both model and tutor were very professional and friendly! We will definitely book and do this again!

There's no instruction of drawing skills at all, but for the beginners like us it's still fun and would like to try again!

Absolutely loved the class. Every one was drinking wine and a small cheese spread was put out for during the break. Lots of interacting and the atmosphere was just lovely. Great model and great host. I'll defo be attending more events likw these.
