What you'll do

This course is to learn how to knit with beads. It is a 2-hour evening course on Monday 26 October at the Caversham Baptist Church in Caversham centre, or a 2-hour morning course on Thursday morning 29 October at Leander Club in Henley-on-Thames.

You will learn how to knit beads into your knitting. To follow this course, you need to know how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off.

This workshop is part of the Woolly Wol Learn to Knit for Intermediate Level, but can be booked on its own, or you can save 5 pounds if you book one of the other workshops, Learn to Knit Lace or Learn to Knit Cables, at the same time in one booking (no discount code needed). We will follow the pattern for the bead square in the Woolly Wol Blanket. The Woolly Wol Blanket is specially designed to take you on a knitting journey from easy to harder and it is knit on 6-mm needles which means it’ll grow quickly, and feel super satisfying.

Included in this course are 2 hours of expert tuition, the Woolly Wol Beads Square pattern, enough wool to knit your bead square, beads and a tool to add the beads to the knitting, as well as tea and biscuits.

If you already own 6-mm knitting needles, please bring them, or otherwise add them to your booking.
