- You will then have a demonstration on how to use the tools to make perfect round dots, from which you will build a simple mandala design.
- After some time practising the dotting techniques, you will be ready to create your own dot mandalas on paper and up to two mini canvases to take home.

I have always enjoyed art and craft of some kind, but I have always been particularly interested in folk art painting. In 2017, my husband and I bought a Dutch barge and motored it all the way from the Netherlands to our hometown at the top of the Thames. We already owned a narrowboat, and I fell in love with canal art and folk art from around the world.When I learned that I was going to be made redundant from my university teaching job, I decided to set up a craft business. I knew that folk art painting and dot mandala painting were what I wanted to teach, so The Crafty Boater was born. I now teach and run local craft markets.
