What you'll do
In this six-week pottery course, you will learn the main methods of pottery hand-building, including, coiling, pinching and slab building, and a variety of decorating and glazing techniques.
You will be able to make, decorate and glaze a huge range of your own unique pieces which will then be fired to a high quality. Come back to the pottery studio each week for two hours of crafting with clay and a feeling of creative satisfaction.
These pottery classes are also a really friendly, sociable and relaxing experience so you are sure to have a great time and meet new people.
If you have attended a wheel throwing class and would like to practise on the pottery wheel during the course, you are also very welcome to do so. For those of you that would also be interested in attending an extra week focussing on the pottery wheel, we are also able to offer this for an extra cost where we have an interest. Please let me know.

Hi, I'm Carole and I teach pottery classes in my beautiful tranquil garden studio. I am joined by my daughter and pottery teacher colleague Talia. From pottery parties for adults and children to corporate team building events, my fun and engaging workshops are a wonderful way to let loose and get creative together.
We are passionate about all things pottery, from hand-building to wheel throwing, and want everyone and anyone interested, to enjoy working with this wonderful art form and craft!
