Hi, I'm Jo, founder of Central Scotland School of Jewellery.I started making jewellery because I loved the combination of creativity and problem-solving. Jewellery has an amazing way of turning simple materials into something people treasure, and I still find that just as exciting today.In 2016, I founded Central Scotland School of Jewellery in Dunblane with the aim of making jewellery-making welcoming and accessible to everyone. Since then we've introduced thousands of people to the craft, from complete beginners making their very first ring to experienced jewellers developing specialist skills.One of the things I'm most proud of is the team we've built. Alongside my own teaching, our workshops are delivered by a carefully selected group of experienced jewellers and specialist tutors, each chosen for their expertise and their friendly, supportive approach. Every tutor teaches to the same high standards that we've developed over the last ten years, so whichever workshop you join, you'll be in expert hands.The best part of my job is watching someone arrive saying, "I'm not creative, " and leave a few hours later wearing something they've made themselves.
